Google has already stated that if you sell links, that if found… will pull your sites PR down. Thought it supposedly has no effect on your rankings. That is if you are already a “trusted site”. So you either need to:

  • Gain trust and then sell links - But if caught, the PR drop will cause you to make less money. Simply because people are buying links based on your site’s PR. Though you could make money off organic traffic via adwords or some other method of advertising.
  • Gain trust and don’t sell links or be smarter on how you go about doing so.

You can make money using a service such as TLA ..however Google is well aware of them and their service. Which means you may be at risk using their service. Though they won’t tell you that. Also, they base what your blog is worth on the PR of the site. So, if you PR drops… so will the worth of a link on your site. hmm…. Also TLA will not allow you to particapte in any other form of link buying or blogging services such as PayPerPost, ReviewMe, etc.

The best way to get links is the old fashion way, email. Placing links in related pages and post inside the body of the text is best. Never in a sponsored section. I’ll cover TLA and other venues in future posts… pointing out the pros and cons.

What do you use to make money on your blog? What makes you money?
