I read a lot of blogs.. I mean a lot. I’d say about 200 blogs or more a week. Some give me ideas, some knowledge and some are for pure enjoyment. I always look to see how a blog makes money. Some people have it down to a science.. while others have no clue what to do. Now, some blogs generate revenue because they receive a lot of traffic and so they sell pagesviews. If you plan to have a blog and make it successful you need the right wordpress plugins. Making sure that it is not only monetized well, but that it functions just as well for the search engines and visitors.

• This first plugin was a godsend to me. Spam Karma 2 (SK2) catches spam like no other. As your blog traffic increases so does the amount of spam. Monitoring it yourself will take away from writing quality posts. This plugin does most of the work all by itself. Read the rest of this entry »
